Safety Rahim Moore's vicious hit on Buffalo wide receiver Donald Jones drew outrage and shoves from the Bills and kudos and pats on the helmet from his Denver Broncos teammates. Moore's hit resulted in a 15-yard penalty Saturday night and could produce a fine if the NFL deems the hit crossed the line, although the rookie from UCLA didn't launch himself at his opponent and led with his shoulder. Jones' head bounced off the ground and he stayed down for several minutes before getting to his feet and heading to the locker room. Bills coach Chan Gailey said he wasn't seriously injured. Moore said he was sorry Jones got hurt but he thought it was a clean hit. Source: Associated Press
I want to see the hit. If he didn't launch himself and didn't lead with his helmet why the hell was he flagged? It isn't his fault the boy's head bounced off the turf. Is the NFL going to implement a rule stating that if an offensive of player's head hits the turf AFTER a clean hit then the defense of player is responsible? What is he supposed to do? Catch him after he hits him? But like I said I haven't seen the video so....
Ibsaw that game and it was clean he hit him with his shoulder first....it was a hard hit but clean .... I think the reds just over reacted to the way it looked and result Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
