Broncos tight end Tony Scheffler recently had an air-clearing meeting with new coach Josh McDaniels. Scheffler heard his name being tossed around in a bunch of trade rumors after his best friend on the team Jay Cutler was traded. "It's definitely something we sat down and talked about," Scheffler said. "Nothing happened. It's in the past. In this league, you've got to move forward to the next day and keep moving or you'll get left behind. I'm on board with Josh. It's been a lot of fun." Said McDaniels: "I'm sure there were quite a few players who had relationships with Jay, and they've done a great job of saying: 'You know what? This is our team now, and these are our quarterbacks.' He's working his butt off to getter better with each one of them. He's making a good impression on them, and I hope they're making a good impression on him." Source: The Denver Post
