Broncos Unlikely To Trade QB Kyle Orton Before Oct. 18th Trade Deadline

    ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that the Broncos are unlikely to deal quarterback Kyle Orton before the October 18 trade deadline. "He's going to finish the season in Denver," said Schefter on SportsCenter, "...because of that overbearing salary." Orton has a $7.379 million base salary, and any interested team would have to pay the majority of it if they were to acquire him. ESPN NFL Insider John Clayton also considers an Orton trade unlikely. The Broncos should be kicking themselves for not completing an Orton trade when they had the chance with the Dolphins in late July.

    I'm sure the Dolphins are glad the deal went under..........Andrew Luck/Landry Jones/Matt Barkley are more talented than Orton.
