The Denver Broncos would like defensive end Elvis Dumervil to take a paycut, according to Albert Breer of NFL.com. Breer says the problem isn't his cap number which is $13.623 million. Denver would like Dumervil to take a reduction in his $12 million salary. Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports the Broncos haven't approached him about it and there will be some resistance from Dumervil's camp. This could ultimately result in his release. Source: The Redzone
he looks sexy as an OLB in any 34. Straight swap doom for harrison, harrison makes like half the money
ok, this is stupid and may be a complete bullcrap story. if his cap number is not a problem, i have a hard time believing the broncos would be asking for a pay cut from $12 mill. dumervil had another monster year last season and will be a key player for them in 2013 if they are going to make a SB run. i can't believe the broncos would do this. i'm calling bullcrap.
