Peyton Manning’s arrival in Denver will likely mean Tim Tebow’s departure. Numerous sources say the Broncos will attempt to trade the third year quarterback rather than keep him as a backup once Manning is under contract. “The Jacksonville Jaguars have been mentioned as a possible landing spot for Tebow, who rose to fame as a star with the Florida Gators in college,†writes Albert Breer of the NFL Network. “Jaguars owner Shad Khan has mentioned that he would have been interested in Tebow if he had been in charge of the team when the quarterback entered the league.†Tebow has become a Broncos fan favorite for engineering incredible come-from-behind victories and leading Denver from a 1-4 record last season to their first playoff win in six years. But despite that success, Tebow’s poor completion percentage (47.3%) and unorthodox style will undoubtedly impact his trade value. Source: KWGN-TV Denver
People are attaching his name to Miami...while I wouldn't be surprised if it happened, it would make zero sense and I could pretty much guarantee that if Philbin knew that Tebow would be the QB in Miami, he wouldn't have taken that gig...no way.
I think that Teabow will end up with the Jaguars as a starter or the Patriots as a backup. My guess is that the Muchak experiment will fail in Tennessee and Bud Adams last head coach hire of his life will be Josh McDaniels. McDaniels will deal for Teabow to become the Titans starting QB.
The Patriots still have Mallet on their roster. Cant see why they would go for Tebow. Jacksonville should pass and bring in someone to tutor Blaine Gabbert and let him sit. Tebow needs to go somewhere he can sit a few years before starting. He will get cut before he gets traded, he has no trade value.
Didn't they tag or re-sign Hoyer as well? That's why I think he could go to the Pats...just not as a QB.
why trade for him. just wait until he gets cut and save your 6th or 7th round pick. It isn't like there will be a huge rush to sign him.
well, the pats pretty much come up in any conversation because they bring in a lot of players that are considered 'washed up' ...... sometimes the pats can revive their careers. i agree. i'm not sure he's worth anything.
Mack Engel, a sportswriter for the Fort Worth Star Telegram, wants Jerry to trade for him. It's in his column today.:icon_frown:
