Browns safety Nick Sorensen accused the Saints of dirty play during Sunday's 30-17 upset by the Browns. Sorensen said New Orleans players were gouging at his eyes and ripping at his face while he was down on the ground recovering a fumble on a kickoff return. He also said that linebacker Blake Costanzo reacted angrily after the opening kickoff of the third quarter because the Saints were choking people. Josh Cribbs, who was on the bottom of the pile after that return, said, "They were grabbing my crotch.'' Sorensen's ordeal happened after he ripped the ball away from Pierson Prioleau after the Saints fumbled a second-quarter kickoff. Sorensen came up with the ball after what he called dirty play in the pile. "I was at the bottom and they were gouging my eye and all of that stuff,'' Sorensen said. "They were gouging my eye and ripping into my face. It was dirty, but that's just what happens. They pulled my helmet off a couple of times, but I don't know if it's the helmet or the fact they probably shouldn't be grabbing my facemask. I don't know, it's just part of the deal.'' He added, "I was (ticked) after that, I'm not going to lie. It woke me up for sure.'' Source: Mary Kay Kabot, Cleveland Plain Dealer
They won, that isn't enough? Damn. Lol. They have no room to talk. They were yanking at players off piles, and pushing and shoving. People that live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks.
How about nobody throw rocks cause they can hurt. Anyway, the Browns played a good game, they won, and there really is no need to snitch.
The browns played an excellent game. Trickery caught the Saints off guard, and then the offense played like crap .. again.
I guess he wasn't too familiar with being at the bottom af a pile. Maybe he should try to be involved like that more often.
I understand that players have and use a lot of items during those piles. Switchblades, hand grenades, machine guns...
