Browns Closing In On Deal With LB Paul Kruger

    Sources say the Cleveland Browns are closing in on a deal with Ravens pass rushing outside linebacker Paul Kruger according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.

    Of course nothing can be officially consumated until 4 pm Eastern when the free agency signing period begins.

    Damn. Gonna get too much, but it ain't my dough. Release him in two years if he doesn't live up to it.

    I can dig it. Like I said, not my money and the way contract are going it makes sense to take shots since there aren't as many problems from releasing players.

    Gives them a ton of flexibility in the draft, and of be surprised if they stayed put and made a pick at #6 after this.

    i sure hope they sign some more players to help kruger out,but the only way you get better is by signing better players,and this is a great 1st step.

    It opens it up to a guy like Milliner to pair him with Haden. 40 million is a lot to pay for a one year guy playing along with guys like Suggs and Ngata. Good luck browns.

    hearing browns are also going after te fred davis. also heard that joe cribbs and lb alonzo alexander are more than likely headed to the cards.
