Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that league insiders are openly expressing concern that the Browns could axe head coach Eric Mangini before the season ends after the dismal start to their season. Mangini is facing heavy criticism over his coaching and is also under fire after unnamed Browns players filed grievances with the NFLPA over issues with their head coach. The Browns have shown they have no issues with terminating staff before their contracts run out, showing so most recently with former head coach Romeo Crennel and former GM Phil Savage who were let go just a year after signing contract extensions.
