Browns running back Peyton Hillis will visit the Chiefs, a source told the Plain Dealer today. In Kansas City, Hillis would play for former Browns coach Romeo Crennel. If all goes well on his visit, Hillis could sign quickly. Hillis has said he'd like to remain in Cleveland, but it remains to be seen if the Browns will try to re-sign him. He'd be a good fit there but I don't see them outbidding the Browns for him, and that's what his visits will be all about, establishing his value to other teams.
Right.. And if you believe the report that Cleveland is ready to offer him at least 16 over the first three years plus incentives, I just can't see many teams outbidding by much, especially like KC where he's more or less a backup who gets a few more touches because he's behind a brittle guy like Charles.
