The neck injury Cleveland Browns linebacker Scott Fujita suffered in Week 5 against the New York Giants is considered serious, reports NFL.com and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported earlier Monday that Fujita's neck injury, which kept him out of Sunday's victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, have both team and player fearing that it is a career-ending issue. A source who has spoken with Fujita confirmed to Rapoport that the ESPN report is accurate. This is a hugely surprising development for Fujita, who missed this past Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals with what was termed as a shoulder injury. He played in Cleveland's previous four games, registering 14 tackles and a sack. Source: NFL.com
