The Cleveland Browns placed all-purpose running back Dion Lewis on injured reserve, a foregone conclusion ever since he boke his fibula during the second preseason game. Lewis joined the Browns via a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles. He was slated to back up Trent Richardson since Montario Hardesty has been sidelined after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.
