Browns President Mike Holmgren Will Install Pure West Coast Offense In 2011

    According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Browns president Mike Holmgren plans to install a pure West Coast offense in 2011. That's great news for Colt McCoy. Holmgren's experience with the system was cause for hope when McCoy was drafted in the third round, and he flashed some potential as a rookie in a similar system. He'll now have the benefit of running a scheme that relies on quick passes as opposed to long bombs. Holmgren was asked about McCoy's future as the team's starter and seemed quite confident in his young passer, saying he "certainly" sees potential in McCoy.
