Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme came in late in the second quarter to replace starter Seneca Wallace, who suffered a right leg injury against Atlanta. Wallace, making his fourth straight start for Delhomme, was hurt when he was sacked by Falcons defensive end Jonathan Abraham. There was no immediate word on the extent of Wallace's injury. Delhomme had been inactive for the Browns' previous three games after severely spraining his right ankle in Week 1. He practiced all week and was hopeful he could go against Atlanta, a team he knows well after playing seven seasons with Carolina. Source: Associated Press
3 snaps. A completion on a screen, hit a falcon in the helmet, and botched an exchange with Peyton Hillis. :icon_sad:
I'm giving him until the end of the game at least. He looks scared from the snap though. Happy feet with no pressure.
It seems like they might have left him in to finish the game so that he can dig his own grave. But we won't know anything about next week until next week because of Mangini's constant misdirection.
