The Cleveland Browns signed running back Thomas Clayton and release wide receiver Brian Robiskie. Clayton was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft, Clayton spent the entire 2007 season and the first 14 weeks of the 2008 season on the 49ers’ practice squad before being elevated to the 53-man roster for the final two games. He spent the entire 2009 season on the 49ers’ injured reserve list. In 2010, Thomas spent four weeks on the Browns’ active roster and two weeks on the club’s practice squad. He appeared in two games with Cleveland. He also spent nine weeks of the 2010 season on the Patriots’ active roster, appearing in one game where he totaled 17 rushing yards on six attempts.
