If you ask me it doesn't sound like a marriage made in heaven.
Well, they finally got someone to accept the job at least
He'll last longer than Chudzinski...lol.
local guy. does he surpass his dad's legacy now the he's an NFL HC ?
i mean it's the browns we're talking about so i need clarification.
awesome high school coach vs. browns coach? i don't know. it's a toss up.
in all seriousness this guy has has paid his dues. sure his dad probably helped him get his foot in the door but he has made his way through the coaching ranks from high school to now being an nfl HC.
btw - some of you may remember but espn had a documentry called "the season" that chronicaled the '99 football season at north penn when mike jr coached there. the highlight was the the rivalry that existed between north penn and his dad's school central bucks west.
nice to see mike & james franklin, two local guys get big jobs.
Wasn't that called "The Last Game?"
so they basically just settled for this guy cause nobody else wanted it?
And I thought the skins had major problems finding a new coach!
We may all think of this as it is the Browns, like that's bad. I don't dismiss this point. But he is coming from Buffalo, so not really a step down, right?
