In a recent press conference, head coach Eric Mangini said that his team will have a few specific plays where Seneca Wallace will be involved, according to the Canton Repository. It still sounds like Jake Delhomme is the favorite to open the season as Cleveland's starter. Should that be the case, a few gadget plays per game certainly wouldn't be enough to provide fantasy relevance to Wallace. Source: Rototimes.com
Sorry the phrase fantasy relevance just struck me funny, however when teamed with Josh Cribbs, Wallaces "wildcat" relevance becomes interesting .
I remember a few times a year or so that he would go out and line up as a slot WR in Seattle, and got a few good plays from that. Seneca's the type of player that kinda does scream 'wildcat' puzzle piece though.
I like Wallace also, but Delhomme has the job to lose. He'll see the field though, should be interesting.
The Browns will be pretty good if they got a legitimate number one receiver when they hand over the reins to Colt McCoy. A Welker/Shipley possesion receiver type would do wonders for the young QB. I think McCoy will be one of the best QBs in the game.
