Bengals. But Weeden has to look better this week, right?

i'm not sure about that. i was thinking the Bengals have to look better this week, right?

 

Weeden should play with a chip on his shoulder today. Last week they failed pathetically at establishing the running game, I'd expect much more dedication to that in this game, which hopefully will result in a little less pressure on Weeden and a less pathetic performance.

But fwiw I picked up and started the Bengals D this week.

 

yep, there were several teams last week that barely attempted to establish a running game. the lions were the only one in that bunch that won their game, but of course they barely beat an inferior team in the process.

Teams have to be careful. the appeal of the easier passing game is pretty strong but you can't completely abandon the running game.

 

Particularly a team with two really solid corners (the Eagles). It would seem like things should soften up a little bit more today.
