The Browns waived wide receiver Tori Gurley and released wide receiver Arceto Clark from the practice squad, the team announced today. Waiving Gurley gives the Browns room to add wide receiver Josh Gordon to their active roster Wednesday. Gordon is coming off a two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. The roster exemption Gordon, the Browns' No. 1 receiver, was granted by Commissioner Roger Goodell expires Wednesday. Gurley was on the Browns’ practice squad, but the team promoted him to its active roster Sept. 7. Source: Akron Beacon Journal
