After skipping the majority of the offseason program due to personal reasons, newly-minted Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Kellen Winslow has drawn glowing reviews from his new teammates for his performance during recent practice sessions. According to Stephen Holder of the St. Petersburg Times, Winslow, who was acquired via a trade from the Cleveland Browns and signed to a $36 million contract extension, has displayed a lot of athleticism so far. Absolutely! He made a catch two weeks ago where I threw a back-shoulder throw on a fade, quarterback Luke McCown told the Times. I threw it short because it was good coverage, and (Winslow) reaches back with one hand and makes the grab. It was unbelievable. Added safety Sabby Piscitelli: I was like, He caught that? I went back to the film room and, as competitive as I am, I was mad for six hours after that. But I went back to the film, and there was really nothing else I could have done. . . . A catch like that, you just have to go back and say, That was a heck of a catch.

He's always been a good receiver. He just doesn't block.
