Just one day after the 2011 NFL preseason schedule was released and it was announced that the Chicago Bears would be playing in the Hall of Fame Game, word is out now that they may also travel to London. Sources are saying that the Bears will head to London for the NFL's annual game in Wembley Stadium and face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Chicago's last time playing in London was back in August of 1986 during the team's Super Bowl winning season. That game ended in a 17-6 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Last year's London game saw the San Francisco 49ers defeat the Denver Broncos 24-16. Source: NFL Examiner
Crap I ain't never going over there. They talk funny, smell funny, and eat funny crap. No thanks. If it ain't in the Caribbean I ain't going.
I'm against the game, think it prolly sucks for the teams and I don't like intentional things that affect competition just to deepen pockets and promote the league.
Bucs again? Probably isn't a good idea to have the Bears as the away team, they are probably the most supported team over here.
There,... Fixed that for you,..:icon_cheesygrin:,.... In any case, as some one who cannot at the moment (or at anytime in the foreseeable future for that matter) afford to go to the US to watch a game, I'm happy to have any game put on, effectively on my doorstep,..
