Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times reports that Aqib Talib has surrendered to police in Garland, TX. There had been a warrant out for the arrest of the Buccaneers cornerback after he and his mother allegedly fired shots at the boyfriend of Talib’s sister. Talib was booked on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Bail is expected to be set at $25,000 (essentially the same cost as if Talib had hit a defenseless receiver). If convicted, Talib could face anywhere from 2-20 years locked up.
