Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy is making a rather quick recovery from his left ankle sprain. McCoy was literally jumping around at midfield before Week 6’s game against the Saints—a game he sat out—and was back on the field for the better part of practice Wednesday when the Buccaneers began preparations for their matchup Sunday against the Bears. The Bucs, who are working out at a resort outside of London, have yet to say whether McCoy will play, but coach Raheem Morris seems optimistic about his chances. McCoy was expected to miss several weeks after getting injured in Week 5. “He’s getting better,†Morris said. “Having a chance to get him back is exciting for us.†Source: Sporting News
