According to CBS Sports' Clark Judge, New York Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham is expected to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free agency. The Bucs have signed former Giants' quarterbacks and receivers coach Mike Sullivan as their offensive coordinator. According to Judge, Manningham would move to the Bucs for a number of reasons, including his knowledge of the offense as well as his desire to move to a warm-weather club. The Giants are likely to move on as Manningham's price is too high for a third receiver for them, and they think he is limited to playing only a few spots in the formation. Source: SBNation.com
I mean, who wouldn't want to sign with a team that has a Head Coach that could barely win in a completely soft Big East and play in the same division as the Saints and Falcons! HUGE career move. I'd take less money to stick with the Gnats or try to convince a contender to sign me for whatever. But even since his day's back in Ann Arbor, the kid wasn't the smartest anyway.
