The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hired three assistant coaches this week to help fill Raheem Morris’ staff. After much speculation that they would hire a defensive quality control coach from the college ranks, the Buccaneers landed Tyrone Pettaway for the position, who was a defensive assistant at the University of Southern California last season. The Buccaneers also snagged Grady Stretz from the college ranks. The former Arizona State University defensive line coach will join former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Keith Millard as co-defensive line coach. Millard will likely work primarily with the young defensive tackles, as he recored 18 sacks in 1989, the most ever in a season for a defensive tackle, he has also served as an assistant coach for the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders.
