With the ugly situation between exiled quarterback Josh Freeman and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ramping up significantly overnight, the team's front office has already spoken with about a third of the teams in the NFL about a possible trade this morning and plans to contact all 31 teams by tonight according to Ed Werder of ESPN.com. The Buccaneers believe Freeman is by far the best quarterback available and might be able to make a more equitable trade if a team loses its starting quarterback. Source: TheRedzone.org Sweets's Take: Hey, the Titans are looking for QB's, I wonder what SRW thinks about the possibility of getting Freeman.
No need to trade for Freeman. Play the free agency game . You get him.,.great...if not, business as usual. It's not like everyone in the world doesn't know the relationship between Freeman and the Bucs is done. No need to go overboard doing the Bucs a favor and taking him off their hands.
Exactly, they've been so apparent with their discontent and plans, who honestly would make that move now?
Maybe...MAYBE a team that is certain they are getting a 7th round compensatory pick willing to give up their original seventh round pick? But you could probably pay a lot less for him than trading for him.
uhhh.. SF just dropped BJ Daniels and Owen Marecic and only picked up a LB and apparently are going to grab Skelton wtf
the coach that drafted him is the skins db coach so if all they are asking 4 is a 7th rounder, who knows? they can bring him up to back rg3 cause they will end up either trading or losing cousins with in a few seasons.
