Bucs cornerback Anthony Gaitor suffered a torn ACL in his knee and running back Michael Smith tore a tendon in his foot in a 17-16 win over the Miami Dolphins Saturday. Both were placed on injured reserve as the Bucs reached the league-mandated 75-man roster limit Monday. The Bucs also waived WR Carlton Mitchell, DE Ernest Owusu, QB Adam Weber and DE Markus White. The team also released WR Derek Hagan, fullback Spencer Larsen and safety Troy Nolan. The Bucs also signed tight end Mike Shanahan, who spent time in training camp with the Jets.
