Earlier today, Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis criticized the practice squad contract that their 2010 sixth-round pick Dezman Briscoe received from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last month. Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris has responded. "That’s a first," Tampa coach Raheem Morris said via Pat Yasinskas of ESPN.com. "I’m really not concerned about Marvin Lewis’ comments about how we run our organization. It’s a credit to our management, and our ownership, and what we want to do and how we wanted to get him," said Morris. "That’s really all there is to be said there. I heard that comment and that’s Marvin’s opinion." Despite being on the practice squad, the Buccaneers are paying Briscoe 53 cents per week less than what a player on the 53-man roster makes.
