Since mishandling a handoff from QB Josh Freeman on the Buccaneers’ first play from scrimmage at 10:07 of the first quarter, RB LeGarrette Blount, the Bucs’ leading rusher, was benched the remainder of the first half in favor of RB Kregg Lumpkin, who had 21 yards on six carries. Blount has picked up 21 total yards or fewer in two of the past three games.
