Alabama running back Trent Richardson is not only the clear-cut top running back in the 2012 NFL Draft, but a candidate to be a Top 5 pick. For a running back, that's saying something as the league has taken to a two-back system approach that minimizes the importance of running backs. Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano said from the NFL Annual Meeting that he sees Richardson as the perfect bell cow-type of running back. "I've studied a lot of tape on him, he's a very talented guy. I look forward to spending some real quality time with him here before the draft," Schiano said. "But you can't argue with production. It doesn't guarantee anything, but when you look at a running back making a jump from high school to college or college to the NFL, one of the real barometers is production. Was he able to be consistently productive? And Trent's done it in what is arguably the toughest league in college football. So he's a special talent." Source: CBS Sports
My guess is they won't have the chance, because if I had to predict the Browns pick today, it would be Richardson.
