You're going to be building your NFL team. You must choose 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE. The first 4 players are QBs, then the next 4 are RBs then the next 5 are WRs, then the last 3 are TEs.

Post your result and try to explain why you came to that final conclusion. Feel free to create more than 1 squad.

    86WARD -

QB - Peyton Manning - Is an explanation necessary? (1)
WR - Reggie Wayne - See above. (2)
RB - Michael Turner - What the Colts are really missing. (3)
RB - Matt Forte - He'll return to 2008 form with Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne. (5)
TE - Jermicheal Finley - Dude is going to be sick no matter where he is. (4)
WR - Mike Sims-Walker - If Sims-Walker can do what he could do with David Garrard...imagine what he could do with Peyton Manning. (6) :water:

RB Chris Johnson (1) "he is the best"
WR Miles Austin (2) "he's like the energizer bunny"
QB Aaron Rodgers (3) "he's who the 49ers should have picked in 05"
WR Calvin Johnson (4) "how can you not pick someone nicknamed Megatron"
RB Jamaal Charles (5) "he shares my birthday"
TE Owen Daniels (6) "he's better than some think"

1.) RB Steven Jackson - Hidden gem playing for a lousy team
2.) WR Miles Austin - I never cease to be amazed by this guy
3.) QB Aaron Rodgers - By far, the best QB who isn't old and wrinkly
4.) RB Rashard Mendenhall - Gotta have a Steeler and I couldn't have Ward without giving up Rodgers
5.) TE Greg Olsen - He is statistically better than any tight end in pool 6
6.) WR Jerricho Cotchery - His stats are better than Devin Hester

    R. Rice 2
    S. Holmes 3
    C. Johnson 4
    J. Charles 5
    F. Davis 6

  9. QB - Eli Manning - One of the more underrated quarterbacks in the NFL. Enjoyed one of the finest seasons a Giant quarterback has ever produced, just the third Giant to pass for over 4,000 yards in a season. Has great pedigree and bloodlines. Displayed his toughness by playing most of last season with plantar fascists. Hasn't missed a start since taking over in the middle of the 2004 season. (3)

WR - Andre Johnson - The most complete Wide Receiver in the NFL today. Has great size, speed and strength combination. Would garner more attention if he played in a bigger market. (1)

WR - Steve Smith (NYG) - Caught a franchise record 107 passes last season for Big Blue. Became the first Pro Bowler at the position for the franchise since Homer Jones in 1968. Outside of Wes Welker, the most clutch receiver on third downs. Big chain moving threat. (2)

HB - Jerome Harrison - Exploded onto the scene for the Browns during the late stretch of the '09 season. Displayed he can be a very effective full time back. (5)

    HB - Beanie Wells
    - A tough down field runner with some surprising speed for his size. The Cardinals finally have a running game to go along with their impressive passing game with this guy. (6)

TE - Visanthe Shiancoe - A good red zone threat with soft hands and can create mismatches against defenses. (4)

  10. P.Manning- The Best their is
R.Wayne- The best pure hands in football
    M.Turner- Very good back
    F. Jackson- very underrated back
    P. Harvin- Multifunctional
    O. Daniels- Athletic TE more like D. Clark than anyone on this list

  11. TJ

    TJ Dez Caught It

QB: Tony Romo (3). I'm more than a homer. Just look at his record as a starter.
RB: Chris Johnson (1). Best RB in the league. Yeah, above AP.
RB: Brandon Jacobs (5). That's right!! I got lightning and thunder!!!
WR: Calvin Johnson (4). OMG OMG OMG MEGATRON!!!!
WR: Devin Hester (6). And I just got myself a deep thread and a kick returner.
TE: Vernon Davis (2). Break out season, and finally living up to the hype.

    I win.

QB: Aaron Rodgers #3 (he made me a believer)
    RB: Ray Rice #2 (he's a gem)
RB: Pierre Thomas #6 (Reggie who?)
WR: Andre Johnson #1 (arguably the best WR in the league)
WR: Calvin Johnson #4 (too bad he's stuck in Detroit)
TE: Dustin Keller #5 (should have a real good career)

  14. CStevenson13

    CStevenson13 1st Stringer

    1. Peyton Manning- best player in football
    2. Ray Rice- imagine how much more dangerous he'll be in a offense with weapons around him
    3. Brandon Marshall- him catching balls from Peyton is just stealing!
    4. Jermichael Finley- Matchup nightmare, runs like a reciever
    5. Matt Forte- still a very good back, offense had a down year as a whole
    6. Jerricho Cotchery- catches everything, would kill underneath with Finley and Marshall stretching the field

Chris Johnson(he was the best back last year and he is an explosive runner and for his size has some power)
Sidney Rice(he burst onto the seen last year and proved he is one of the best wide receivers in the game)
Aaron Rodgers(one of the most underrated players in the game and a true franchise quarterback)
Calvin Johnson(one of the most talented wide receivers in the game he suffers from not having a good quarterback throwing him the ball)
Jamaal Charles(one of the best up-and-comers in the league took over the starting runningback duties and never looked back)
Owen Daniels(one of the best tight ends of the game he doesn't get fair exposure because of the market he plays in)

  20. RichLikeWh0a

    RichLikeWh0a Hermhater = Nemesis

1 - TE Jason Witten - This guy is as tough as it gets on the football field, there's no questioning that. There's also no questioning his reliability, because when you need a play to be made, this guy is there to make that play. He can do it all.

2 - QB Ben Roethlisberger - Young QB still, 2 superbowls, and also as tough as it gets. He doesn't have the best statistics, but at the QB position, does it get any more clutch than Big Ben?

3 - WR Brandon Marshall - This was the toughest pool for me probably, because it's loaded with talent. But it's too hard not to pass up on this guy's hands and abilities. He's simply too good, and will continue to be too good.

4 - WR Calvin Johnson - This pick isn't really even hard. How could you not take this guy on your offense, especially with Brandon Marshall on the other side? This is a duo that's almost too good to be allowed together, in my opinion.

5 - HB Brandon Jacobs - He's the most proven back of this bunch, and although he didn't have the greatest season.... do you wanna try to tackle him? :icon_eek:

6 - HB Knowshon Moreno - This was the tough for me, because a lot of those RBs are pretty evenly matched in my eyes. Something just tells me this kid has the best future.
