Buy. Haley's systeam is QB friendly and they have one big weapon. It'll be close but I think he will get to 90.

I say sell. They do not have the weapons in the passing game. Haley is a smart coach and will know his best weapon this season is Larry Johnson and so they are going to run the ball a lot this season.

Every system he had in place had the weapons to be QB friendly, not to mention the pass protection those QB's had. KC has none of that. At least not yet.

I think KC will have an improved Oline this year, a muched improved LJ, paired with Jamal Charles who I like. Obviously I'm A Cassel fan, Haley is a really good offensive coach, Bowe is a beast, and I even like Mark Bradley....that being said, I dont think KC will have a great year, but I think they will have a solid year shoeing much improvement. I expect Cassel to have a QB rating just short of 90, maybe 88 and change.

The Chief's best lineman doesn't want to be there, there was nothing else done to revamp that o-line. Bowe is a very good player, which is why he is going to get all the coverage, but unlike in NE, Cassel doesn't have an outstanding checkdown guy. Plus Cassel holds the ball too long which is why he got sacked so much behind the very good o-line in NE, not to mention that Cassel struggles to take the ball from under center. I woulden't bank on a bounce back from LJ, Teams are going to stack the box until Cassel can throw more than ducks over their heads, which I don't think he can. Instead of building through the trenches, the FO only drafted one offensive linemen.

I agree with selling and I also agree to a point about the O line. Goff isn't that bad of a pickup to play OG and Albert did a pretty damn good job at LT. I am sick of McIntosh.

I won't go into Cassel's ability. I'll continue to disagree with some opinions on that and it's definitely not because I'm a KC fan.

    Sell and for several reasons.

1, I see the Chiefs as still rebuilding, defensively it could be messy and chasing a lot of games could see Cassel asked to go outside his comfort zone and heave the ball downfield more than he'd like.
2, A new offense to learn and a lot of young talent, minus Tony G, equals some growing pains as a unit.

I think Cassel will be ok in the long term, but this year I see him more as a 75-85 type rating passer. Some good games with some average games and a the odd stinker.

i've heard several people saying today that they believe haley is calling plays in order to pad Cassell's stats because right now Cassell is blowing and it's making Haley and Pioli look bad. Specifically, instead of handing the ball to Larry Johnson at the goal line this year, they've been passing a lot........... and not just a play action 'out' pattern to the tight end or something, I mean Cassell is lining up in the shotgun quite a bit on the goal line. i think some of the chiefs fans are getting a little pissed from what I'm hearing.
