Cornerback Captain Munnerlyn tweeted that he has re-signed with the Panthers: "It's officially I'm staying a Carolina Panthers !!!!!!! Lets get it" It is believed to be a one-year deal. Last season, Munnerlyn made a career-high 61 tackles, broke up nine passes and returned two interceptions for touchdowns. He has started 25 games over the past two seasons.
