Cardinals C Lyle Sendlein played for most of the 2008 season with a torn left labrum. Sendlein suffered the injury during the team's fourth game, yet never missed a start. "I can't really use that as an excuse," Sendlein said. "It was definitely there, but it's part of the game, especially in offensive line play. I can't let a little shoulder get me off the field."
