Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt knows there is concern among Cardinals fans after the reigning NFC champions went 0-4 in the preseason. He wants them to understand that the team played only basic packages and gave away none of the many wrinkles the Cardinals will have on display once the season begins for real. The former Steelers assistant says if the team wanted 3-1 or 4-0 preseason record, it could have had it, but there was no game-planning for opponents. Source: Associated Press
hmmmm..... if we wanted to win we could...?...... i'm pretty sure the packers starters laid a beat'n on the cards starters. how about working on fundamentals (like holding onto the ball. oh wait woodson is just a beast )instead of hiding your specail wrinkles.... weak .....
I've always hated that "but we're running a vanilla scheme' crap. I've eaten enough of that garbage in Chicago to put me on Jenny Craig. No excuse for bad play period. Even if some team had some secret scheme, it'd only last for the first few games till the film was all over the place. Then what? More excuses...
