The question put to Bruce Arians on Monday was simple: Q. “What can you do to get Carson (Palmer) off to a better start, a more stable start? A. “Have the guys around him play better.†Q. "Were they in the wrong places"? A. “Yes.†Later, Arians added: “We stopped ourselves. The Niners didn’t stop us on the first two drives. We threw the ball to them because we were in the wrong reception areas and not on the same page. The rest of the game, we were pretty solid.†Source: AZ Central markaz's Take: Try as hard as Arian wants, while numerous factors have led to the Cards' less than stellar start, it all begins with Palmer. Through the first six (6) games of the season Carson Palmer's poor decision-making is the primary reason the Cards have struggled with field position and turning the ball over with his numerous interceptions. Sorry Bruce, but this fan and many like me in AZ see Palmer as the No. 1 kink in the armor so far to date.
