Quarterback Matt Leinart was limited in practice this week because of a sore left shoulder, and he suffered the injury against the Packers. Leinart has done some light throwing this week, and coach Ken Whisenhunt has said the injury isn't serious, Whisenhunt, however, has mentioned a couple of times this week that playing through this injury might be beneficial to Leinart because every quarterback in the league gets banged up from time to time and has to learn which injuries he can play through and which he can't. I get the feeling Whisenhunt would like to see Leinart play at least a little bit against the Broncos on Thursday. If Leinart is in serious pain, it would be foolish to play in the most meaningless game of the year but he thinks Leinart might benefit from playing through a little soreness. Source: azcentral.com
