Cardinals running back Rashard Mendenhall left the team's preseason game Saturday night vs. the Chargers with a right knee injury, according to the official team site, but it does not appear to be serious. He was spotted walking during the game and didn't receive treatment after the game according to the Arizona Republic. Mendenhall played fairly well against the Bolts, totaling 47 yards on six carries. Alfonso Smith is currently working as the No. 2 running back behind Mendenhall and would conceivably get playing time if Mendenhall were sidelined. Source: CBS Sports
