Cardinals Rookie CB Patrick Peterson Likely To Start Week 1

  1. With Greg Toler suffering a potentially serious knee injury in the Cardinals' third preseason game, it looks like first-round draft pick Patrick Peterson just might start in Week One after all. Peterson helped his cause with a nifty 34-yard TD return of an interception in Arizona's preseason opener. Heading into that game, team insiders had not been overly impressed with his play at all.

Were absolutely desperate at CB now if Tolers injury is serious. Luckily, Peterson looked like a BEAST last night. He read Rivers eyes perfectly for his INT td. Just hoping Toler can come back soon, hes beem playing solid too. Boy im missing DRC though now, man I wanted to see he and Patrick on the field together. But I have to admit, im loving Kolb more and more every day. He looked like the real deal last night against a great Chargers defense last night. Im stoked to see him in action come the regular season.
