The Cardinals drafted two defensive backs in April - safety Rashad Johnson from Alabama in the third round and cornerback Greg Toler from Saint Paul's College in the fourth. Both have gone through normal rookie struggles this preseason. "They're not to the point you want them to be; I don't know that any rookie would be at the point you want them to be," coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "Greg has a long way to go, much like young corners do, especially coming from where he did. Rashad played in the SEC, which is a big-time conference, so I think his transition would be a little bit smoother. Both of those guys, we are going to need them some time this year to help us. I'm excited about where they are, even though they aren't ready to start yet." Source: Arizona Republic
