The Arizona Cardinals aren't ready to write off Jonathan Cooper's rookie season as a complete loss.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians told reporters Monday that Cooper is out of surgery to repair a broken leg and could return to action in 10 to 12 weeks in a best-case scenario.

That timetable would allow Cooper, the seventh overall pick in April's draft, to play in the team's final six games of the regular season. Cooper was injured during the Cardinals' 24-7 loss to the San Diego Chargers on Saturday night.

Arians said Daryn Colledge will kick over to left guard with Paul Fanaika sliding into the right guard spot.
