The Arizona Cardinals signed linebacker Jasper Brinkley to a two-year contract on Thursday. Brinkley set a career-high with 117 tackles as a member of the Minnesota Vikings in 2012, while adding two sacks and three forced fumbles and appearing in all 16 games, 15 of which were starts. The four-year veteran was a fifth-round pick of the Vikings in 2009 and has recorded 155 tackles, three sacks, three forced fumbles along with four passes defensed over 48 career games. Brinkley missed one tackle for every 5.7 he attempted. Worst efficiency of any middle linebacker last year. So maybe moving to a 3-4 will improve that stat. We'll see.
