Cardinals TE Todd Heap recently took a $1 million cut in pay, according to Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com. Heap, who played his first 10 NFL seasons with the Ravens, moved to Arizona as a free agent last year. In his first season with the Cardinals, he struggled to stay healthy and finished with 24 catches for 283 yards and one touchdown in 10 games. He's expected to back up youngster Rob Housler, whom the team is high on. In order to stay with the team in that role, Heap accepted a salary reduction from $2.15 million to $1.15 million.
