Over the past week, the Cardinals jump-started negotiations to extend the contracts of two key defensive players, and it shouldn't take long to determine the likelihood of consummating the deals. General Manager Rod Graves has had discussions with the agents for strong safety Adrian Wilson and inside linebacker Karlos Dansby in recent days and plans to have more talks in the near future. "I would say our communications and efforts have stepped up since minicamp ended (10 days ago)," Graves said. "I don't want to get into details but I can tell you we have had discussions."
