The Cardinals are trying to trade running back Ryan Williams, according to a tweet by Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports (@JasonLaCanfora). That’s not a surprise, and after the roster moves today, the Cardinals have 76 players, which means they have to make one move before the Tuesday deadline to reach 75. Williams played Saturday night for the first time this preseason, gaining 10 yards on 2 carries. The Cardinals didn’t want to play him much more than that because he has gone through only three full practices in camp. Alfonso Smith was Rashard Mendenhall’s backup on Saturday night, and Williams also has fallen behind rookies Andre Ellington and Stepfan Taylor. Source: Arizona Republic
The kids got wheels, if he could only stay on the field. Maybe with an O-Line that could provide some lanes he'll do OK.
