I removed the Casino, Arcade and Reputation System from the site tonight. The casino was removed because it's not supported anymore, has bugs that have not been fixed and it caused unnecessary server loads on the site. The arcade was removed because it was too buggy and all the games are open source and coded by different people. Sometimes the games didn't work. The arcade also put a big strain on the server. The reputation system was removed because it was pretty much a joke at this point. It became a joke a while ago and people were building up rep pretty much by cheating the system. What is the point of having a rep system if it's not being used for that? I won't be bringing these features back. We are a football forum first and foremost, and some of these add-ons were taking away from the main focus of the site.
Is vcash next? seems to be as pointless as rep at this point, everyone pretty much has hundreds of millions if not more. and what is there to buy? I say dump it all. We are a Football Forum! We all appreciate the hard work it takes to run this place and appreciate whatever you gotta do to keep it running smoothly.
You have no idea how close the gifts came to being cut. The reputation system was more useless in the end.
I understand... It is a good thing that the arcade is gone... I was getting a little obsessive at beating Mike in bookworm... it was starting to affect my personal life! Thank you! :icon_cheesygrin:
I'll be the 1st to admit I love the gifts. They are stupid. No other site has them. Hopefully they don't cause too much of an issue here with the server. Honestly though, I never ever talk football here, I'm an off topic/baseball poster. I feel I'm wearing out my welcome.

Ironically the site is slower tonight after the removal of these things....slowest that I've seen in a while at least.
Thanks Tam! I understand it's a football first place & I'm totally cool with that. I just don't want it to lose sight of some of the other things other members enjoy, that's all. I'm mainly talking about the forums.
Damn now I have nothing to do in the offseason now that the arcade is gone LOL. I was having fun beating Mike Back and forth at a few of the games.. Eh oh well Im sure there are arcade games elsewhere on the internet. Gotta do what Ya gotta do
