The New England Patriots patiently stayed out of the active corner back market in free agency because they wanted to bring back Aqib Talib all along. On Saturday, they got their man. Talib will return to the Patriots on a one-year deal, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. Albert Breer reported, per a source, that Talib will earn $5 million. Talib decided to sign the one-year deal, rather than a five-year deal, in hopes of cashing in afterward, Rapoport and Breer reported, the corner back passed on three other options to remain in New England. never been a big Talib fan. he's obviously happier being in NE versus TB but it's just a matter of time before he wears out his welcome in NE too. he was obviously causing some issues in the TB locker room and has problems staying out of trouble with drugs and violence. I think the guy is a bad human being so I would never root for him under any circumstance. just my 2 cents though.
