wait, wait, let me get this straight, CFL isn't real football? what do you have against the CFL. The league dates back to 1958, unlike arena football or crap leagues that were created on the fly, there's a lot of history to the game. There's nothing wrong with CFL Football at all. And has had many legends, Dieter Brock for example, a guy who dominated the CFL and AND the NFL.... There really isn't much of a difference between NFLers and CFLers, you have to have a certain level of fitness to play in both, CFL has alot of silly rules which hinders the game a tad but it's still exciting. All the best of the best skilled players go to the NFL that's nothing new, that's where the money is at, but their are plenty of skilled players playing in the CFL that could be playing in the NFL and they do have their fair share of bums. The CFL game isn't for everyone, but it's still football. Not all guys playing in the CFL have, work 9 to 5 jobs in the offseason. Cmon... And that's hardly a legitimate reason to knock the league. Quarterbacks have to have strong arms in that league, you can't be a noodle arm like Jeff Garcia is at this point in his career and be starting down there. You need to be able to throw a football with good velocity to have success. In most cases that is. You put on the shoulder pads and go play a single football game in the CFL and then say it isn't real football. I don't even see how this thread is relevant to the sub forum that it is posted in. Funny seeing this come from an admin, maybe you're just afraid that a cfl city is threatening to take away you're beloved nfl team.
^ He said it - NFL Football players kept offseason employment well into the 70s before salaries begane to get as exorbitant as they are to day. To rip those men because they don't command the assinine salaries of NFL players and in turn have to find other ways (than playing a game at a high level for entertainments sake) to make ends meet is total bullcrap. Boo-urns on this thread
