Dolphins receiver Chad Johnson’s standing with the Dolphins remained in doubt Sunday following his arrest Saturday night on a domestic violence charge stemming from an altercation with his wife, Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post reports. Coach Joe Philbin said after Sunday’s practice, which Johnson did not attend, that he does not want to comment on the arrest or decide on whether to keep or cut Johnson until he has a chance to meet with Johnson face to face. Philbin wouldn’t guarantee that he would meet with Johnson on Sunday night but said the meeting will happen sooner as opposed to later. “Until I speak with Chad directly, it would be premature of me to make any comments about the situation,†Philbin said.
