Carson Palmer says he'll never play for the Cincinnati Bengals again and his house in the Cincinnati suburbs recently sold. One of his favorite targets said Thursday he doesn't doubt the quarterback won't play for the team again. Chad Ochocinco, interviewed by "SportsCenter" on Thursday, said Palmer is a man of his word. "He will sit out, he will retire," Ochocinco said from the Atlanta Motor Speedway, where he rode in a car with Sprint Cup driver Jeff Burton. Ochocinco added that Palmer is "frustrated" and wants a "fresh start." Bengals owner Mike Brown repeatedly has said this offseason that he won't trade Palmer. According to reports in Cincinnati, Palmer recently sold his five-bedroom property on five acres in Indian Hill, Ohio, for approximately $1.9 million. Source: ESPN
I feel bad for him. If he landed with a more competant franchise to start with he wouldn't have had his talent wasted like it was.
More competent Franchise. LOL. They went to the playoffs with him but he got hurt. He came back and he sucked and yet they went to the playoffs again. Were do you want him? Most other teams have a quarterback BETTER than him or are worse off than Cincy. Don't give me that crap. He's the problem not the solution. The injury in the playoffs was unfortunate, had he not got hurt though they would have won that game.
Drag...seriously...please don't try to make it like the Bengals are competent in any way whatsoever. Look at their history...it's god awful. Palmer was a major reason the Bengals made it to the playoffs the first time...
Amen. The Bengals are a terribly run franchise. On any other team I honestly believe Palmer would have been considered one of the NFL's top QB'S because they would have known how to build around him.
Look at their history...just look at the number of years they've had winning records...it's not many. It's not many at all!!
