Chambers, who didn't really deserve his name "Fast" in this fight, didn't has an answer to Klitschko. All he did was hiding behind his guard and took the beating. Even his tires to provoke the Steelhammer with some wrestlinglike crap, didn't work. Wladimir did was he needed to win and finally send Chambers dreaming in the last round.
Lack of unification? There were so many heavyweight champs for a while it was ridiculous. Vladimir has through various means (some in the ring and some out) managed to get most unification but the Klitschkos have camped out on top so long that nobody gives a heck anymore. Until Vitali is fightin Vladimir I'm not interested in heavyweight fights any more.
No but even if the US had a sure thing challenger at this point most fans don't give a heck anymore. It would take a US champ winning a UNIFIED championship and then succesfully defending it once or twice before anyone in the US paid attention to heavyweights again. This has more to do with the shambles the division has been in for over a decade then it does US nationalism. The US will watch international fighters if the division has a clear champion that regularly defends his belt. Just look at how well Pacquiao v Clottey did here.

I knew there is a jungle of boxing associations and even more belts, but the Klitschko brothers hold most of them and they are regulary defend them. The fact that is even a statement is part of the reason I'm out until they will fight each other. I think Vitali holds one belt and Vladimir now holds most of the others but it's questionable how several of them came to him and the several years that it took are a large part of the shambles I am referring to. If I am not mistaken I still think there are other heavyweight champions out there besides the Klitshko's too. Vitali hold the WBC belt, Wladimir WBO and IBF.Valuev lost the WBA title to Haye lately. btw. Haye canceled the Klitschko fight bc an "injury" and never challenged Klitschko again. All tires by the Klitschko management to reach an agreement for a new fight, where denied by Haye..... They both make plenty of money and if they fight each other, one has to end up as looser. Don't misconstrue my defense of Tyson as far as your accusations he lead to the mess that has been the heavyweight division for the better part of a decade for me defending him as a human being. He is dirt for sure BUT when he was champion he was undisputed champion and the heavyweight division was by far the best in boxing. Of all the crapty terrible things he has done in his life. Freaking up the heavyweight division isn't one of them. The Klitschko's should fight each other because boxing is about the best fighters fighting it out to prove who is the best of the best. When there are 5 different championship belts in a division held by 3-5 different people and at least three of them won't fight each other (which it sounds like your saying is the case with Haye not willing to fight Wladimir and the brothers not fighting each other) then the division is a mess
